Take a breath. You have prepared for this.

It is natural to feel nervous. The Redditch centre is where many local learners get to show the safe driving they have practised. Plan your journey, arrive in good time, listen carefully to the examiner and take each road as it comes. One moment at a time is enough.

This is an independent Rainbows Driving School guide. Test appointments and centre information are managed by DVSA; confirm the latest details with GOV.UK. Rainbows is not affiliated with or endorsed by DVSA.

A positive approach to your Redditch test day

At Rainbows, we appreciate the work of Redditch driving test centre’s examiners and staff in supporting safe, independent driving. Thank you to the local team for the part you play in this important milestone for learners.

A driving test is your chance to show the skills you have practised with Jane. Treat the team with courtesy, take a steady breath and ask your examiner to repeat an instruction if you need to hear it again. We want every pupil to arrive prepared and approach the day positively.
